01 Why We Exist

We believe that the best things happen when creative people step away from their desks, their deadlines, and their to-do lists — and simply go somewhere wonderful together.

Magpie Destinations was born from a simple idea: makers deserve to travel — to restore, renew, and reclaim the parts of themselves that get buried under the busyness of everyday life.

We are a travel company built by and for the maker community. Every retreat we design is a carefully crafted experience — full of adventure, connection, and unhurried time to create entirely on your own terms.

You'll still craft. You'll probably craft a lot — because that's who we are. But there are no required sessions, no homework, no pressure to show up with a finished object. The making happens naturally, the way it always does when you put a group of creative people somewhere beautiful.

We handle all the logistics so you can focus on what actually matters: exploring, connecting, and remembering why you fell in love with making things in the first place.

02 What We're About
I

Restore

Every retreat is designed with rest and spaciousness in mind. We build in free days, unhurried mornings, and evenings with nowhere to be — because makers who are depleted can't create, and you deserve to come home full.

II

Renew

New places unlock new ideas. We take you somewhere that pulls you out of your usual patterns — ancient ruins, jungle canopies, turquoise seas — so that when you return to your craft, you bring something fresh with you.

III

Reclaim

Somewhere along the way, making became work. Deadlines, algorithms, productivity — we know. Our retreats are a deliberate act of reclaiming creativity for yourself. No audience required. Just you, your hands, and your people.
